Dear Reader,

In the 9th instalment of My Master, mailed yesterday, contains an

error. In its second para, I have, by mistake, typed the word

" diversity " instead of " adversity " . Please therefore read the sentence

as " Prosperity did not make him imperious and adversity did not sink

him into the depth of abjectness " . I regret the error.

I am grateful to Shri.Sunder.Ayer, one of the Hari Bhafktas, for

having brought the error to my notice.
