Dear Haribhaktas,

By the prerane of Shri Hari, Vayu, Gurugalu we will be celebrating Shri Madhvanavami on

Saturday Feb 23, 2008 at Livermore Temple. This is an official temple function conducted by us every year.

Please attend and get the blessings of Shri Hari, Vayu, Gurugalu. Please spread the word about the program

to your relatives and friends and make the program a grand success as in the previous years. Please arrive early

and volunteer, we need your help in various tasks throught out the day.

7.00 AM Devara pooja to saligrama and deities in the community hall by Shri Harish Vasudeva

& Food preparation starts in the kitchen

 

8:30 - 9:30 AM Stothra pathana including Shri HariVayustuthi and Shri SumadhvaVijaya parayana and honey abhisheka

to Shri Mukyapranadevaru

 

10 - 10:30 AM Short Digital Presentation on Shri Madhvacharya by Shri Guruprasad

(Will be repeated during lunch at 2:30PM)

 

10:45 – 12:00 AM Rathotsava of ShrimadAcharyaru (avatara trayaru) & Sarvamoola granthas.

Archane to Shri Mukyapranadevaru & Mangalarathi by Temple priests

 

12:30 - 4:00 PM Temple priests & Madhva elders alankara pankthi and prasada distribution

to temple devotees, & volunteers (tradittional sitdown lunch)

The following events are in parallel to lunch serving

1:00 - 2:30PM - Devotional songs on Shri Madhvacharya by leading singers in the area

2:30 - 3:00PM - Short Presentation on Shri Madhvacharya by Shri Guruprasad (repeated)

 

3:00 – 5:00 PM Children’s program – Stotra & Shri Harikathamruthasara recitation & Short skit

(there will be some overlap with second pankthi lunch)

 

3:00 to 3:45, kids stotra/devaranAma program 3:45 to 4:05, quiz for kids by Chi Akshara

4:05 to 4:25 quiz for kids by Shri Harish Vasudeva 4:25 to 4:45 quiz for adults by Shri Harish Vasudeva 4:45 to 5:00 prize distribution

5:00 - 5:30PM Vishranthi

 

5:30 - 7:00 PM Taratamya bhajane, Mangala & Magalarathi

We appreciate a donation of $51 for the expenses and a contribution of $11 to the temple for the archane and mangalarathi.

You can pay this in the community hall and register the names of your family members with gothra and naxatra for the archane and

mangalarathi.
