Workshop - Debate Program (Kurukshetra) - Invitation

Dear Participants,

In our effort to make our workshop more interactive, we are pleased to inform you that we are introducing a debate program, named " Kurukshetra " from our next workshop on 16-March-2008. The topic for the debate is " Spirituality helps us overcome sorrow. Yes or No?"

Following are some rules that we would like to implement, in order to have a successful program:

1. Owing to restriction in time, we can allow 4 people to speak in favor of the topic and 4 people to speak against the topic. The first four who have registered in each of these categories will be given preference.

2. Duration given to each speaker is 3 minutes (including presentation and summarization). Please adhere to this time restriction.

3. After all the participants have presented their opinions; Achar will summarize and conclude the debate program.

4. The participants are encouraged to express their views openly. However, they are encouraged to use the language appropriate to the context and the serenity of the workshop.

This information was announced in our February workshop. As a response, some of you have already registered to participate. However, currently, only two people have registered to speak Against the above topic.

Therefore, we invite your nominations to participate in this debate speaking against the topic.

We are looking forward for your enthusiastic participation.
