An Appeal

Dear Devotees of Sri Raghavendra,

Many of the devotees are aware that Sri Raghavendra

Swami Sapthaha Mahotsava has been celebrated at

different places in South India by the samithi for the

past 14 years.This has been made possible due to

financial asssitance and co-operation from all of you.

For the celebrations of each Sapthaha,samithi requires

a minimum of Rs 7,00,000/- [Rupees Seven Lakhs] for

each year to meet expenses for conducting

Homas,abhisheka, pushparchana, sambhavane to pundits

and artists for their upanyasa and cultural

programs,annadhana on all the seven days with[coffee

and milk both morning and evening],rent for the venue

for the 8 days,mike,lights and stage decoration etc.

Last year at Raichur some devotees suggested to enroll

their names as regular contributors for Sri

Raghavendra Sapthaha Mahotsava in the books of samithi

to share the entire expenses.Each devotee will have to

send a minimum of Rs 500/-[Rupees Five Hundred only]

by M.O/DD/Cheque in favour of " Sri Raghavendra

Sapthaha Karyacharana Samithi, Mantralayam " at the

beginning of January every year.It was also suggested

to implement this scheme for this year's sapthaha

celebrations in the month of March.

To fulfill the desire of the devotees this appeal is

circulated to one and all.By joining in this

scheme,each participant will get the benefits of

entire sevas during Sapthaha like Annadhana,Homa and

Seva to Sri Rayaru.

Sri Raghavendra Swami phala mantrakshathe will be sent

to all the participants after the function each year

by post/courier.

By the grace of Sri Rayaru,15th year of Sapthaha

mahotsava will be celebrated at Tanjavoor[Tamilnadu ]

from 08-03-2008 to 14-03-08.This place is so sacred

because Sri Raghavendra Swamigaulu was given " Sanyasa

Ashrama " here by his guru Sri Sudhindra Tirtha.

Samithi is awaiting to receive current year's

contribution and request you to continue your active

co-operation for the grand celebration of Sri

Raghavendra Swami sapthaha mahotsava each year.
