Importance here being given to 'Madhva', the Person as a whole and what He stood for. So just being a maadhva without knowing 'who Madhvacharya is?' and 'what He stood for?' doesn't make much sense. Hence the whole idea behind MYC should be to provide a common platform which would cater to the needs of all types of people and at the same time instilling/increasing the pride of being a maadhva in them. 1st MYC core meet is to see how all this could be achieved. Main points of discussion (Agenda) for this could be 1. Where/Who/When/ [How often] to conduct MYC. [Like 'Mantralaya'-'Madhva Maha Parishat'-'August 15 2008'-'Annually'] Once this is done, next thing would be to see. 2. How to attract audience for MYC. (MYC without enough audience/participants doesn't make any sense). [Like 'Advertise through big banners', 'Publicity by giving away free to and fro tickets to MYC' etc] Once this is done, next thing would be to see. 3. What all to be done at MYC. [Like 'Brainstorm on Vision 20-20', 'Knowledge sharing of how each group is working', 'Giving support to 10 poor maadhva students each a maximum of 10k' , 'Honoring meritorous students at MYC', 'Inviting successful maadhvas to address the audience and motivate them' etc] Once this too is done then the last point of discussion would be to see 4. How all this to be done. [Like 'sharing responsibilities', 'forming work groups' etc] Interested persons who want to lead/drive MYC by attending 1st MYC Core meet could confirm the same by replying to this mail. We are waiting for the number of confirmed participants for the 1st MYC Core Team Meeting to be held on 29th and 30th of march 2008 @ mantralaya. NOTE : Pragnya - MYC will be arranging free accomodation for all its participants on 29th and 30th. Details will be rolled out soon.
