Guest guest
Namaskara to all the members of Vishwa Madhva Sangha, I have a question about the usage of the salutation "1008" when addressing Madhva Yati's. I keep seeing the names of Yati's like "Sri 1008 Satyadhyana Teertha" etc. I wanted to know as to why "1008" is used and what is its significance? However, I have not noticed this being used for famous Yati's like Sri Raghavendra Gurugalu and Sri Vadirajaru? Regards -Sudhi
