This organisation has been promoting religious music, teaching devotional songs, performing bhajans at temples, houses and schools, searching requisite bride and grooms for marriages, taking people in groups to pilgrimages, serving the poor and the needy with medicinal requirements and performing homa's and other religious functions over the years. On the whole, the organisation has been spreading religious values, keeping in mind its purpose of social welfare. Since 31 years, Satyanarayana pooja has been conducted at Dharmaprakash. Thousands of devotees have been taking part in this pooja. Around 650 devotees eventually procured land at a place called " Eraiamangalam " near Kadambattur in Sri Poorna Pragna Nagar. A temple for Sri Krishna Anjaneya Raghavendra is now in place, which is 55 km from Chennai along the route to Thiruvallur. The pontiff of Mantralayam Sri Raghavendra Swamigal, 1008 Sri Sushamindra Theertha Swamiji had laid the foundation stone for the temple (photo attached in email) on 20.12.2001, and the 'Prathishtapana Mahotsava' was performed back in July, 2003. The Matha now houses consecrated idols of Shri. Krishna, Mukhyaprana and a Raghavendra Swamy Brindavana, with daily worship by Madhva preists. The Matha is now on a project to offer a Gold and Silver covereing " Prabhavali " (current photo also attached in email) to Lord Krishna's idol. Details of the Prabhavali are as follows:- Prabhavali Details:- (in sq ft) 15X15 YALI 225 8X14X2 SIDE 224 14X12X2 SHANKha & CHAKARA 336 10X24X2 PILLAR =480 9 SQFT (0R) 1265 Approximate Quantilty required is about 4KG TO 5KG + GOLD FOR COATING and labor charges. As of today, the approx cost of the whole Prabhavali runs into about RS. 4.00 LAKHS. The Prabhavali is expected to be offered to the Lord in the next two months.
