Vaishaka Masa, Akshaya Tadige - Holy days --Do little seva and get akshaya punay and best blessings of Lord

As you all know the holy Vaishaka masa is started from today and we have many

holy days through out this month say Akshaya Tadige, Srinivasa Kalyana, Shri

Vedavyasa Jayanthi, Shri Narashimha Jayanthi etc.

Let us all try to put one little step forward and see what best we can do on

these holy days to seek the best blessings of Shri Hari and Shri Acharya.

Those who would like to help the students studying Vedantha Shastra  in the

vidyapeeta who are the torch bearers of our culture and tradition to the next

generation , may kindly do so by contributing to " Akshara Nidhi " and

" Dhanvathari Nidhi " . Hearty thanks to those who have already

started contributing regularly  to these nidhis on monthly basis and also on all

the occassion whenever we request.

May Lord Shri Hari bless all of us with all the strength needed to do HIS seva

in whatever the little way we can by " kereya niiranu kerege chelli " .

Through Akshara Nidhi we would like to help the students of for their expenses

and for their daily needs

Through Dhanvanthari Nidhi, we would like to help the students for their medical

care and any health related problems.

 

As a part of your little seva to Shri Hari on these holy days , please

" Akshara Nidhi " is a quarterly project to support " madhva shastra Adhyayana " at

Gurukulas. We are collecting contributions from the volunteers every quarter and

trying to help the gurukulas at remote places. By Lord's grace, so far we could

contribute to 6 Gurukulas and with the sustained support from all the members;

we would like to continue supporting " madhva shastra Adhyayana " . These students

are the " Torch Bearers " of our culture for next generation. So let us all

support them whole heartedly and encourage them. Kindly contribute generously

for this noble cause and help us to protect

our culture and philosophy. We have contributed Rs 10,000/ for each of the

following gurukulas in last three years.

2) Shri Sathyavijaya Patashala, Sathyavijaya Nagara, Arni, Chennai

3) Shri Panini Vidyapeeta, Athmakur, Kurnool District, A.P

5) Shri sathyasandha Gurukula, Mahishi, Thirthahalli Tq, Shimoga District,

6) Shri Anandatheertha Gurukula, Pajaka, Udupi Dist.

" Dhanvanthari Nidhi " is a scheme to help the Guru Kula students in case any

major health issues to them or their parents. Through this nidhi we try to

provide financial help to the students so that they can get better services and

better health. So far we could help following people

1) Chi. Madhava Prasad, Chennai Rs 7,000/ for Eye operation

2) Shri Anandatheertha, Davanagere Rs 4251 for kidney operation.

3) Shri Balamurali, for cancer operation of his mother - Rs 65,751(total

collection from all corners, including outside the group/personal contributions)

4) Badarinath age 10, studying at Pralhad Pathashala Udupi.s/o Shri Thirumalesh

achar Bellary - For skin grafting Rs 10,000/-
