Please find the photo of SRI VARADENDRA TEERTHARU in Gandha Lepana (Moola Brindavana at Laxmi Road, Pune). This photo was taken today morning on the occasion of AkshayaTratiya.

The bottom Brindawana is Moola Brindawana of Sri Varadendra Teertharu. On top of it Sri Raghavendra Teerthara Mrittike Brindawana and on its Top Sri Mukhyaprana!

alankara which is represented by Gandha.So we do Gandha lepana to idols and saligramas as a representation of this event. Second,It is your wish to keep the Gandha or to remove it after the pooja. The actual procedure on this day is to do gandhlepana in the

morning, give dana, FAST till evening and again do abhisheka,alankara to saligrama and to parashurama murthy and then have food.(Same as Krishnastami).Because today is PARASHURAMA JAYANTHI and also TRETA YUGADI. Lord
