Pancha mahotsava kaaryakrama - July 12 & 13 in Bangalore

On the event of  Shri Viswavallabha Theertha Swamiji of Shri Sode Vadiraja mata

visiting Bangalore for the first time, a two day program called " Pancha

Mahotsava " is being planned. The speciality of pancha mahotsava is that it  is

organised by 5 teams, with 5 upanyasas (on Shri Rukmineesha vijaya, Shri

Theertha Prabanda, Shri Laxmi shobhane, ShriSarasa Bharathi vilasa and Shri

Sapna Vrundavanaakhyana), offering to Lord through 5 homas ( such as Shri Vishnu

sahasra nama homa, ShriPurusha Sooktha Homa, Shri suktha Home, Pavamana Homa, 

Shri Manyu Suktha Home). There will be 5 types of  offereings to Shri swamiji

and the devotees would seek blessings in 5 modes in this two day program on july

12th and 13.

 On this occassion, the organisers are planning to have  'oath taking' for " Laxa

Shri Lakshmi shobhana Patana Yajna "   by 1008 ladies.  The vratha is to sing Shri

Lakshmi shobhane once per day to make it 108 time during the four months of

Chaturmasa. After chaturmasa, there will be a grand function to offer all the

same to Lord -Krishnarpana Karyakrama. All the ladies who are taking oath will

be given a Laxminarayana idol which is worshipped along with the homas. Shri

swamiji would be giving the idols to all the ladies as prasad to worship the

same at home.

Also there is another program for gents - " Laxa Anuvrandavanaakhyana Patana " - by

108 devotees. They need to recite Anuvrandavanakhyana 1008 during the next 50

days which comes to be 20 times a day. The laxa patana has to be completed

before the Aradhana ceremony of Shri Shri Vishwoththama Theertha swamiji which

will be celebrated on Sep 5th. There are several other events which will be

published soon.

By these pancha mahotsava program, the devotees seek the blessings of Shri Shri

Vishwoththama Theertha who attained the abode of Lord on the 5th Day ( Panchami)

and also the paramaanugraha of  panchavrundavanavasi Shri Vadiraaja

Gurusarvabhoumaru.
