Some of you might have heard / read about the Sarvamoola preservation project undertaken by Shri Prof. Mukund (more details about activities on www.taraprakashana.org.) and his team. Now the project is completed and the whole set of Sarvamoola is now captured in a 6 inch golden wafer, wel-protected against all decaying agents. The wafer was released in a function recently in Poornaprajna Vidyapeeta. The details are provided here. It is good to have this wafer at home and worship the same daily as it has got special sannidhana of Shri Mahalaxmi and Shri Acharya Madhva.

Though the price for the wafer ($50) seems to be not on common man's budget, we need to appreciate the hard-work and dedication of the team and their intention not to make this a business, but an effort to help the community. Please go through the web-page to know more about the project.(The brochure is too big to be an attachment to the mail ~ 3MB)

Some excerpts from the brouchure:

Shri Palimaru Swamiji: “As Shri Narayana Pandithacharya said, the Sarvamoola Grantha is an alternate form of Shri Madhvacharya. The engraving of Sarvamoola Grantha in golden letters is equivalent to sculpting a golden statue of Shri Madhvacharya"

Shri Bannanje Acharya: "“A golden wafer containing Acharya Madhva’s Sarvamoola Grantha. Amazing concept. It will be great if it reaches every home as an icon of Shri Madhvacharya for worship. NanoArk Corporation should be complimented for doing this as a service"

From the team :"The new method developed by NanoArk uses 21st century technology to preserve the information originally found on the palm-leaves on a small golden disk known as a Waferfche™. In this process, high-quality pictures of the manuscripts are taken using a scientifc camera and these pictures are processed in order to make the text easier to read. The processed images of the palm leaves are then inscribed on a Silicon wafer -Waferfche™- using the latest semiconductor technology.

Advantages of storing images on a Waferfche™ include the following: The Waferfche™ can withstand temperatures of up to 400°C thereby making it fire resistant; The Waferfche™ is not affected by the presence of water thereby making it resistant to moisture and humidity; Images of the palm leaves etched on the Waferfche™ are visible to

the naked eye with magnifcation; In addition, the Waferfche™ is estimated to last for over 500 years into the future, meaning that these sacred texts will be safe from being lost for at least the next five centuries. "

Shri Bannanje Govindacharya and Shri Kaniyur Swamigalu released the Sarvamoola Grantha - Golden wafers on August 8th at Shri Poorna Prajna Vidya Peetha, Bangalore. The unique feature of this project is that, the original script written by Shri Hrishikesha Tirtharu, the direct disciple of Acharya Madhva is imaged and permanently stored on these wafers. I'm enclosing a brochure of this for your reference. It is evidently known that Shri Mahalakshmi and Acharya Madhvaru reside in the Sarvamoola Grantha and bless people who worship with devotion. More details of this is available in the brochure (http://www.nanoarkindia.com./img/Sarvamoola%20Brochure-final.pdf). Those who want to worship the SarvaMoola ( in the wafer form) may contact me for procuring one. The order booking form (http://www.nanoarkindia.com./img/sarvamoola.pdf) and the brochure is also available on our company website - www.nanoarkindia.com.
