Guest guest
|| Sri Krishnaya Namaha || namaste all, MYP would humbly like to pay the best tribute in our own capacity, in return to all that Sri Nagendra Rao has done to our community. This is a small attempt to remember the person, the dedicated efforts and an attempt to carry his vision further with the help of all our Madhwa Bandhus. Here is a brief note about Sri Nagendra Rao's contributions. Poornaprajna Sadhana Pratishtana was established in the year 1999 under the guidance of Sri 1008 Sri Vidyamanya Teertharu, Sri 1008 Sri Vishvesha Teertharu and Sri MN Venkatachaliah, the honoourable former Chief Justice of Supreme Court of India as Chief Patrons, by a group of likeminded individuals under the Trusteeship of Sri C. M. Nagendra Rao and C. M. Nagaraja Rao in the city of Bangalore as a public charitable trust to carry out the following activities. Old-age resort Cow caring center Pranayama and Meditation courses Free medical checkup camps Publishing of religious books To help, aid or assist the needy public Pratishtana has been organizing Pranayama and Meditation Classes in Karnataka and neighboring states. The trust has been publishing Geeta Diary since from 5 years with valuable information’s for daily use. He was well known to most of the madhva bhandus for his selfless service to the community through several means. He used to propagate “practicing Geetha in daily life” by means of “Geetha Diary” since last couple of years. Geetha Dairy was his special & unique brain child in which two shlokas of Bhagavad Geetha with the meaning in Kannada and English are given for every page in the dairy book, thus covering the whole Geetha in one year. The Geetha diary is promoted by Poorna Pragna Sadhana Prathistana (REGD. 1999) The aims of the Prathistana To publish and propagate Indian philosophy To publish moral and personality development short stories for children Pranayama and Dhyana courses Summer camps for children To conduct Sadhana Shibira on Saturday / Sunday Supply of free text books for the needy and poor students Plans for Cow-Care Centre and Senior citizen’s home are on anvil (underway) To organize volunteer for all social services To conduct Vyasa poornima for 3 days and Gita Jayanti annually Sri Nagendra Rao was also a good guide and teacher for Yoga & Meditation practices and conducted many free camps to propagate the benefits of Yoga & Meditation. He had always wanted to help every madhva bandhu who is in need or trouble, by setting up a helpline and counselling. He also had several other plans in his heart & mind for the community welfare. But Lord Sri Krishna seems to have had better plans for him and invited him for the heavenly abode in the very early morning hours of 21 st Aug. We have got a file photo of him, getting blessed by Sri 1008 Si Vidyamanya Theertharu, attached along with this mail. May Lord Sri Krishna bless the departed soul and accommodate him. We also pray for the strength and courage for the family members, needed to bear this great loss. Oh Lord!! I am seeing in your wonder form, the entire range of deities, all living beings, Brahma, Rudra, sitting on the lap of Brahma, all seers, all sorts of divine serpents.. (15) Oh Lord of whole universe!! Infinite number of shoulders, bellies, faces, eyes are there endless in your Vishwaroopa, for I can not see which is the beginning, middle or the end.
