Dear Shri Vishnu Bhaktas,Greetings on the

occasion of Shrimadh Bhagavatha prostapadi mangala. Our Lord Shri

Madhva Varada Shri Krishna devaru made us to pArAyaNa of Shrimadh

Bhagavatha anukramaNika during the prostapadi period. Many Shri

Bhagavadh bhaktas participated in this suyagna and were blessed by our

Lord.

My MIL Smt Yamuna Bai, having the privilege of having Shrimadh

Bhagavatha shravana for more than 15 years from Shri Shri 1008 Shri SuVidyEndra Swamigalu, has

compiled all the important topics in all 12 skandas of Shrimadh

Bhagavatha in a book. This book is nothing other than the transcripts(pravachana mAlike) of Shri Shri Suvidyendrara Shrimadh Bhagavatha Amrutha vAni put in

words. As per the saying "hoovina jOthe nAru", this Shrimadh Bhagavatha

Gramtha compiled by my Smt MIL was released by the Amrutha hastha

of Shri Swamigalu on Shri BheeshmAsTami day in Shri NavavrundAvana

02/15. This gramtha is being edited and approved by our poojya gurugalu Shri Shri SuVidyEndra Swamigalu.Only rough copies of "Shrimadh Bhagavatha"

gramtha were released in Shri Nava Vrundavana. Many of you have

requested for the copies of

Shrimadh Bhagavatha (copies are reserved for you who had requested

copies earlier). The final copies were again released by Shri Shri

SuVidyEndra Swamigalu on the day of Shri Jayatheerthara arAdhane during

Shrimadh Bhagavadh Geetha yagna this year. We apologize for the

This message below represents a wonderful service to the community by

Smt. yamuna Bai by collecting the lectures of sri Suvidyendra

Theertharu on Srimad bhagavatha. We should all be happy that such an

excellent compilation of the nectar of bhAgavatha is made available to

all the Hari bhaktas. We pray for Sri Hari, vAyu and GurugaLa

blessings to smt. yamuna Bai and all others who made the book possible.

 

 

However, one aspect of this message has caused some discussion among

members outside this list. The guruparampara shown in this message

shows sri vAdirAjaru above sri Jayatheertharu. This follows from the

rujutva concept of sri vAdirArajaru. This form of guruparampara is not

followed by majority of the mAdhvas. Normal guruparampara followed by

most of the mAdhvas is a listing of gurus in the chronological order.

The guruparampara shown here is followed by the minority in the mAdhva

community. There is no consensus even in the udupi maThas on this

issue.

 

Appearance of a message in this list does not

mean that the moderators and/or the VMS organization endorse the positions

of the message. Moderators believe in the open airing and discussion

of the differences in siddhAnta or practices in this and the VMS list. We do

not believe in censorship of any position as long as the discussion is done in a

dignified manner. We urge their readers to discuss with their gurus and yatis
