Vijaya Dashami -Shri Madhva Jayanthi - Most Auspicious day for Lord's seva - Let us all do a little bit to help a fellow madhva

Vijayadasami ( 9th Oct 2008) is one of the Sidda muhurtha-most auspicious day to serve Lord- to gain highest benefit with little offering. Any seva to Lord, any dana / offering, any help to fellow madhvas will be highly pleasing Lord and the devotee would earn the best blessings of Lord. Moreover, coinciding with the Madhva Jayanthi, the birth day of Acharya Madhva, Vijaya Dasami is again very special to all of us and let us try to put one step forward in the sadhana and seek the best blessings of Lord.

MYP is trying to help the madhva bhandus in distress by means of Akshara Nidhi and Dhanvathari Nidhi. Through Akshara Nidhi, we try to support and encourage the students in the vidyapeeta so that they would become outstanding scholars to carry forward the torch of Tatvavada to the next generation. So far, we have helped six gurukulas with an amount of Rs 10,000/ each and we would like to do more and help all those students who are dedicating their life for the study and practice of Tatvavada.

Through Dhanvathari Nidhi we would like to provide health care assistance to the Gurukula students, their parents and other madhva bhandus in general who are in need of help. Let us all try to help our own people and assist them. Let no madhva feel bad for being an madhva because of non availability of any help by fellow madhvas. As you all know this is one of main reason for lossing faith in our culture and religion in general. So let us all try to do a little to improve the situation of fellow madhvas as a service to Lord. By Lord's grace, most of us are fortunate enough to have a secured income by means of salary / business and a liberal donation of a small fraction of it once a while, should not be really troublesome. The story of our fellow madhva bhandu- Shri Sudhama is as follows: -

Sri HK Sudhama is a madhva auto driver staying in Hosakere Halli, BSK 3rd Stage. Recently he got a paralysis attack and for the treatment he has to let off his Auto which was the only support for his family maintenance. Now he is on bed rest at home and his wife has taken up cooking to earn for their food. They have a son who is studying in his 10th Std. Right now, they are in need of urgent financial help for his physiotherapy treatment and his son’s studies. Here is the address and contact number.

Mr. Santhosh from Victoria Hospital is visiting Sri Sudhama¢s house every alternate days for his physiotherapy treatment and is charging Rs. 200=00 per visit

He has to undergo this treatment for next 2 months (33 more visits)

His son is in 10th std and it is very crucial stage of his career. He has to concentrate on his studies, get good marks, to come up in his life with further education.

The requirements are;
