Dear Haribhaktas,

With the prerane of Shri HariVayuGurugalu and Haridasaru

Shri Vijayadasara aradhane went very well.

PoorvAradhane:

The first day was a feast of devaranamas sung by Shri Haribhajane group headed

by Shri Sateesh Jamakhandi and other artists. He is doing a fantastic seva by

leading the dedicated group. Thanks also to Smt Padmaja Kishore and

Smt Soumya Kiran for their excellent performance.

We all enjoyed the company of Dr. P.R Mukund and his

students. Dr Mukund narrated his experience in the digitization of

Shri Sarvamoola granthagalu and his future plans. It was a great opportunity

for us to be in his company and all the members were enjoying talking to him.

We thank him for this great seva to Madhva community for his effort in

preserving one of our most sacred grantha for the future generations.

The event went past midnight after mangalarathi with

bhajane headed by Shri Bala Krishna and concluded with Harivana seva. There

was plenty of palahAra food items brought in by members. We thank all the

participants and bless us all with many more such satsangha.

Madhyaradhane:

The madharadhane program was also a very grand event

hosted by Smt Shubha, Shri Sheshagiri Rao and family at their residence. It

was an unique event with taratamya bhajane with emphasis to songs on Shri

Vijayadasaru and his rachanes. Devaranamas and Suladis of Shri Dasavarenyaru

were recited by Smt Shubhalakshmi, Shri Sheshgiri, Smt Bhargavi, Shri Prasanna

Krishna, Shri Sateesh Jamakhandi and several other members. This was a

great session that went on for 3.5 hrs and was followed by pravachana on Suladis

by Shri Prasanna Krishna. In his pravachana he illustrated the grand aradhane

celebration held in three places - Shri Cheekalaparvi (Shri dasara birth place),

Shri Chippagiri (the last years of dasaru) and Shri AvadhAni (now called Adhoni)

- Shri Vijayrayara katte. He also narrated how Shri Vijayadasara Suladis were made

available to the community that was held privately by a lady and explained the

Suladi on Shri Purandaradasaru. It was a brief one and said that with the

Shri Vijayadasara blessing we will conduct the rendering of Suladis by members

next year aradhane day (similer to Shri Harikathamrutha sAra this year). We pray

Shri Vijayadasaru to bless us with this seva next year.

It is hard to put into words the great dedication of Smt Shubha

and Shri Sheshagiri in conducting this event every year. They are really blessed by

Shri Haridasaru in every aspect to continue the tradition of bhajane. We pray

Lord Shri Hari to bless the family in continuing this tradition. After mangalarathi,

Tulasi Sankeerthane, we were all treated to delicious Udupi style palahAra

(being dashami) as usual prepared by Smt Shubhalakshmi.

We are very thankful to Smt & Shri Shyam Narnapur for a great gift to the

SVBM members. He introduced us to a masterpiece of collection of Suladis

of Shri Vijayadasaru titled "Shri Vijayadasara samagra suladigalu" published by

Shri Vijayashrama, ShiravAra - Sampadakaru - Shri R. Vittala Rao and

Shri Jayatheertha Avadoota. This is a great collection and must have book

for all Madhvaru. We appreciate the effort of the people who have put this great

collection together and sincerely request Shri Shyam Naranpur to convay this to

them on SVBM behalf.

In the seva of Shri HariVayuGurugalu.

for SVBM/VMS,

Sathya
