Hare Srinivasa !Sri Vijayadasaru has said,"madhwa matava poMdadava dhareyolage iddarEnu illadiddarEnu""What is the use of the existence of one who is not understanding the tennets of Madhva's philosphy and following it ardently to the best of one's ability ?" The reference poMdadava implies the follower of Madhva rather than just birth into a Madhva family.Dasaru ardently hints that the purpose of life can be achieved only if the line of thought of Madhva is proccessed and applied as per one's ablility.Such is the gravity of the situation as expressed by Dasaru.Why is it necessary for

every Madhva to sign this petition?As a Madhva, it is our bounden duty to work towards establishing or at least retaining what our great guru Srimad Acharya has given us and what our great Saints and Haridasas have supplemented.To present this viewpoint at national and international conferences our scholars need an academic standing. Tradional study is not being encouraged due to socail pressures whereas, with the availability of a recognised and structured education in Madhva philosophy , such study would be encouraged and the rewards of thereof would be multifold.
