Guest guest
A golden opportunity for Offering in jIvanayaj~na viShNoH sahasranAmnastu yattad rUpasahasrakam.h | bR^ihatIsahasrametachcha tadvakti hi pR^ithak pR^ithak.h || The Brihatisahasra stotra(incantation), containing one thousand sacred hymns from R^igveda in BrihatI meter, from its embedded 72 thousand letters,is reckoned as “jIvanashAstra”, extolling the 72 thousand Divine forms of Almighty, controlling 36 thousand days and 36 thousand nights of Full hundred-year life-span of every human being, which corresponds to the 72 thousand Divine forms of Almighty energizing the 72 thousand nADis present in the body of every human being. The thousand sacred hymns of Brihatisahasra constitute Vishnusahasranama. In other words, each sacred hymn of Brihatisahasra is in the form of the commentary of one name of the Lord in VishnusahasranAma. Hence, just like Brihatisahasra, Vishnusahasranama is also “jIvanashAstra”. Oh Saadhakas! On special occasions like surviving sixty spring seasons and passing eighty full-moon phases due to grace of the Lord, Who granted us this sAdhanaasharIra and enabled us to do our sAdhane as per our eligibility, the necessary thought of offering something to please the Lord, as a token of remembering such Lord’s grace, does not fail to enter the minds of some sAdhakas at least. There is a golden opportunity for the sAdhane of those. One can offer the service to Vishnusahasranama by financially contributing to the cause of the publication of Vishnusahasranama, known as “jIvanashAstra”, along with an elaborate commentary in Kannada. * The already published work of Vishnusahasranama, in four volumes, each with over 500 pages and containing elaborate commentary in Kannada, puts forth the message of SarvamUla in the framework of Vishnusahasranama. * Shri Vidyaamanyatirtharu of Palimaru maTha, during his second ShriKrishna pUjAparyAya, offered in the form of JnAnapushpa, this vAN~mayaseve through the scholars. * Shri Vidyaamanyatirtharu brought to limelight the meaning of each nAma along with prameyas, using his flow of thought in the form of jij~nAsa. * In the republication of that, Shri VidyaadhIshatirtharu of Palimaru maTha, is about to grace the devotees, by giving the sacred hymn from Brihatisahasra for each nAma along with easily comprehensible meaning. Thus it is estimated that about 10 lakh rupees will be needed for the republication of this special work, which is very dear to the Lord, propounded by Vishnusahasranama and Shri Madhvagurugalu. Sadhakas can offer their service to Vishnusahasranama by taking up this financial burden. Shri Vidyaamanyatirtharu, during his second ShriKrishna pUjAparyAya, offered in the form of JnAnapushpa, the publication of Vishnu- sahasranama containing elaborate commentary in Kannada in four volumes through the scholars. * At least five or six meanings are given for each nAma in this work, that will be released, and it has the message of SarvamUla in the framework of Vishnusahasranama. In addition, each nAma contains is adorned with the flow of thought in the form of jij~nAsa of Shri Vidyaamanyatirtharu. * It is one thousand rupees for one Nama for this form of seva to the Lord. As a prasaada, one book will be given as soon as the book is published. Also the name of the Nama seve will be published in the book. Seve Details: One naama seve is Rs. 1008. As a token of blessing, we will give full volume of Shri Vishnu Sahasranaama. Please send in the form of DD/cheque/M.O made out to shri shri Vidyadheesha Theertha Sripadaru.
