It is 10 years since the great soul left us on Vaikunta Ekadasi day during his paryaya. During his pre-paryaya tour he had come to Chennai, and at Mylapore Sanskrit College, he gave his Anugraha Bhashana inviting Chennai devotees to Udupi. The lecture was covered by The Hindu in its Religion column.

Later, The Hindu took up a massive publication selecting the best Religion column articles. The book, " The Hindu Speaks on Religion " runs to 725 pages, and all copies were sold out. The book contains articles covering thoughts from various Indian schools from The Hindu's archives.

The book was published in 1997, and is an unchronological collection of articles over a 50 year period. To top it all, the final word is from the great Dvaita practitioner, Sri Vidyavarinidhi Theertha (the article referred above).,
