Today (23rd Jan) is Sri Gurubhakti Nidhi Teertha's aradhana at Bhimarayar Agraharam at Dharapuram, Tamil Nadu. The swamiji who was a native of Virajimangalam, was the 4th and last pontiff of the Odappalli Matha and arrained brindavana in 1949 at the age of 95 years.

[(The Odappalli matha came into existence to serve the Mulubagal matha pontiff Lakshmi Manohara Teertha (who attained brindavana at Odappalli, Erode)]. Swamiji's invaluable social service:In the 1940s, Dharapuram faced a plague epidemic.

The swamiji took it upon himself to sanitize the place and clean out the rats, thus rendering invaluable service to the locals and saving many lives.
