There is lot of difference in their versions. Each one opines differently. Some persons are telling that it should be conducted only when your fore- fathers have done that and if there is a custom in our family. Some are telling give importance to gnana karya in addition to ayushya & other homas. Some are telling to conduct theertha yatra during this period. Kindly inform the details of correct shanti prakriyas to be performed by a Madhva, during 60th Year, with specific authority, to conduct the same and the time at which it should be conducted. Whether consulting an Astrologer with horoscope is also required at this time? Advice is required by madhva learned pandits in this regard. However, on the "Nakshathra" day you can perform Nakshathra santhi Homa, and other Homeas. After this, Brahmana / Suvasini Boojana is must. Om Sri Krishnayanamaha.
