Dear Reader,

As has been intimated earlier, the Satyadhyana Vidyapeetha has decided

to release about 15 CDs during the current year, the birth centenary

year of its founder, Vidwan M.R.Gopalacharya. Vidwan Vidyasimhacharya

has selected three subjects -the Mahabharata, the Aitareya Upanishad

and Vayu Mahatme- for the purpose. The Vidyapeetha would consider

release of more CDs depending upon the response from Maadhwa Bandhus.

 

As of now, the Vidyapeetha has, on its hand, material ready for

release of 7 CDs--4 of the Mahabharata, recorded from the on-going

discourses, which the Vidwan gives at the Vidyapeetha every Thursday

and 3 of the Aitareya Upanishad recorded during the jnyana satra held

at Tirumala a few days ago. In addition, the Vidwan has agreed to give

discourses on Vayu Mahime he has compiled from different scriptures

and commentaries by scholars; it will be unlike other discourses which

are normally based on a certain epic or work. All the CDs would be of

great philosophical value to every Maadhwa.

The Vidyapeetha solicits sponsorship from the readers. The sponsorship

fee for the release of one CD is Rs. 13,000/-. The sponsor's name

shall appear on the CDs and the covers along with the names of the

persons in whose memory the sponsor wishes to contribute for the

release of the CD. The sponsor shall also be issued 25 complimentary

CDs sponsored along with a set of the CDs already released by the

Vidyapeetha.

Readers interested in sponsorship of the CDs may send cheque or DD to

the Satyadhyana Vidyapeetha, Dr. Ambedkar Road, Mulund (West),

Mumbai-400080. The cheque or DD may be drawn in favour of Acharya

Stores, which is a separate unit of the Vidyapeetha created to look

after printing and publication of Maadhwa literature; it includes

release of CDs. Readers may also send sponsorship fee by " on-line "

Last but not the least, the income generated by the sale of the CDs
