Message from Srinivasan Ramarao (Kompatti, Karur district, Tamil Nadu):

Namaskaragalu,I wish to inform you that the Sri Raghavendra swami Brindavana situated on the Banks of Amaravathi river at Kompatti near Chinna Dharapuram and Karur has been formally handed over to Palimaru Mutt in last October. Now minor renovation work in and around the Brindavana is taking place and Swamiji is visiting Kompatti on 21st March (Saturday) for Bhoomi pooja and also to perform the samasthana pooja and Abhisheka to Brindavana. Swamiji is coming to Coimbatore on 15th for Vyasaraja Aradhana and stays till 20th and leaves for Kompatti. The function at Kompatti is on 21st and Bhagavatha Pravachana at Karur Rayar Mutt is from 21st to 25th.

Kindly make it convenient to attend the same (invitation: attachment). Before handing over the Brindavana building was covered with bushes and trees on all the three sides. Now we have cleared the entire area around the Brindavana (about one acre out of 3 acres of land belonging to the brindavana) and also acquired the vacant house owned by the mutt. This being repaired to enable the sevarthis to stay and to do the sevas. We have planned to house swamiji in this building during the visit here.

We have taken up masonory work for the patching of floors and minor plumbing and electrical repairs. All these works are progressing.Already a permenent Achar has been fixed and pooja is going on regularly. We are looking for a suitable cook now.

A good revival process is underway at the mutt and we hope by the Grace of Hari Vayu Gurugalu and with the blessings of Swamiji the sanctity of the Brindavana will be maintained in future.I

request all Madhvas to show keen interest in helping for developing the

temple to maintain its glory and to help to preserve the sanctity of

the Brindavana with daily pooja Hasthodaka and Annadana for those who

are coming for doing the sevas.Regards
