We had the initiation program for the Laxa Lakshmi Shobhane Patana Yajna on July 13, 2008,(before the Chaturmasya,) at PoornaPrajna Vidyapeeta, in the august presence of three swamiji - Pejavara, Sode and Mantralaya matas. During that function, in the presence of three swamijis, 1008 sumangaliyaru took oath to recite Shri Lakshmi Shobhane 108 times during the chaturmasya parva kala, thus making it one lakh recitation. This was completed several months back but we could not held the "Samarpana Program" due to many reasons. Now the time has come to offer all the seva at the lotus feet of Lord through guru - Shri Shri VishwavallabhaTheertha swamiji of Sode Vadiraja Mata, Sode.

 

The function will be on 31-Mar-2009 at Poornaprajna Vidaypeeta.

The program starts at 8:30am and proceeds as follows.

8:30 am - Shri Sooktha Homa starts

9:15 am - Shri Lakshmi Shobhane patana starts.

9:45 am - Upanyasa on Shri Lakhmi shobhane

10:00 am - Swamiji arrives to the venue

10:10 am - Poornahuti to Shri Sooktha homa

10:20 am -Announcement about Koti Lakshmi Shobhane Patana Yajna

10:30 am - Samoohika "Krishnarpana" of patana Yajna

Aashirvachana by Shri Swamiji

10:45 am - Mantraxatha to all the devotees

11:30 am - Swamiji returns to his place

 

All the sumangaleyaru who have taken the oath and completed the chanting of Shri Lakshmi Shobhane during the chathurmasa are requested to attend the function, offer the seva to Shri Hari and get the mantraxatha from Shri Swamiji. Also the details about the next program - Koti Lakshmi Shobhane Patana Yajna- will also be announced during the program.

Hare Srinivasa,namaskAra On the event of Shri Viswavallabha Theertha Swamiji of Shri Sode Vadiraja mata, visiting Bangalore for the first time, a two day program called "Pancha Mahotsava" is being planned. The speciality of pancha mahotsava is that it is organised by 5 teams, with 5 upanyasas (on Shri Rukmineesha vijaya, Shri Theertha Prabanda, Shri Laxmi shobhane, ShriSarasa Bharathi vilasa and Shri Sapna Vrundavanaakhyana) , offering to Lord through 5 homas ( such as Shri Vishnu sahasra nama homa, ShriPurusha Sooktha Homa, Shri suktha Home, Pavamana Homa,

Shri Manyu Suktha Home). There will be 5 types of offereings to Shri swamiji and the devotees would seek blessings in 5 modes in this two day program on july 12th and 13. On this occassion, the organisers are planning to have 'oath taking' for "Laxa Shri Lakshmi shobhana Patana Yajna" by 1008 ladies. The vratha is to sing Shri Lakshmi shobhane once per day to make it 108 time during the four months of Chaturmasa. After chaturmasa, there will be a grand function to offer all the same to Lord -Krishnarpana Karyakrama. All the ladies who are taking oath will be given a Laxminarayana idol which is worshipped along with the homas. Shri swamiji would be giving the

idols to all the ladies as prasad to worship the same at home. Also there is another program for gents -"Laxa Anuvrandavanaakhyan a Patana"- by 108 devotees. They need to recite Anuvrandavanakhyana 1008 during the next 50 days which comes to be 20 times a day. The laxa patana has to be completed before the Aradhana ceremony of Shri Shri Vishwoththama Theertha swamiji which will be celebrated on Sep 5th.
