1) A little philosophy inclineth man's mind to atheism; but depth in

philosophy bringeth men's minds about to religion.

2) Some seem wiser than they are; others are wiser than they seem.

 

3) The day of wisdom are over. Shadows of sham wisdom are stealing

across all parts of the world.

 

4) If you are angry, count ten before you pounce upon one who angered

you. If you are very angry, count hundred.

 

5) Anxious aspiration for more than is necessary is avarice. An

avaricious man can never be happy.
