Dear All,

 

Please find the attachments inviting all pious minded persons for the cow-adoption scheme, being inaugurated on the 27th of April, 2009 (Akshaya Thritheeya) at Shree Kshetra Kanva Theertha, near Mangalore. This unique program is being conducted under the divine guidance of both the Swamijees of Sree Pejavara Matha.  This kshetra is where Kanva Muni had performed penance and where Sri Acharya had undertaken Chaturmasya.  Also, this is the very place where the concept of " Dwandwa Matha " started and also where the Senior Pejavara Sree was initiated into Sanyasatva.  A very holy place and the Moola Sankalpa will be done at this place on 27-04-2009 and all interested persons can simultaneously do the sankalpa on this day between 06:00 AM and 12:00 Noon right from their own places - From Kanyakumari to Badrinath - in their own homes.  The amount may be sent to the address provided in the invite or seva-list thereafter. 

 Each year, it is thought to observe " Akshaya Thritheeya "   as Go-samrakshana day. All interested devotees are requested to do the sankalpa and adopt a cow of the Go-shala, which starts at Rs. 501/= for cow adoption scheme and at Rs. 101/- under the Nitya Go-seva scheme.

 We have to protect the cows and the Neelavara Go-shala consists of about 1000 cows, which requires a lot of maintenance.  Please commit yourself and help other commit to this divine scheme of adopting cows. The details are found in the attachment, including the list of Sevas that may be undertaken.
