                                                                     A unique Jnyana Satra at the Satyadhyana Vidyapeetha from 27-04-09 to 02-05-09.

 

Dear Reader,

 

As you are aware, the year 2009 is the birth centenary year of Vidwan Shri. M.R.Gopalacharya, the founder of Vani Vihar Vidyalaya and Satyadhyana Vidyapeetha. The late Vidwan, a renowned Vedantin, a profound Maadhwa scholar, an acknowledged authority on Eastern and Western philosophies, a thinker, an idealist, was a great soul in every sense of the term.

 

With a view to celebrating the centenary year in a manner befitting the legendary founder, the Satyadhyana Vidyapeetha has organised a jnyana satra at the Vidyapeetha from 27-04-09 to 02-05-09. The jnyana satra will be unique in the sense that not only will there be  discourses by renowned pundits and scholars, but will also have musical and bhajan concerts by eminent artistes And most important of all, it will include the Pratishthapana of Lord Venkatesha and other deities in the complex along with inauguration of the new Vidyapeetha. His Holiness Shri Satyatma Teertha Swamiji of the Uttaradi Mutt has graciously consented to perform the Pratishthapana rites and to inaugurate the new edifice.
