Sri Krishnothsava - Puthige Matha, New Jersey - May 24 (Memorial Day weekend)

Dear Sri Hari Bhaktas,

Due to the non availability of Laurel Hill State Park in the Memorial Day Weekend in May this year, our VMS Annual Retreat in this State Park and our participation in the Mettilotsava in Sri Srinivasa Temple in Pittsburgh are postponed to Labor Day weekend in Sep (Sep 4-7). The non availability of the State Park is due to the financial and budget crisis in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, precipitated by the on-going crisis in the Wall Street.

The above is giving us a good opportunity to initiate and participate in Sri Krishnothsava in the new spacious premises of Sri Krishna Brindavana of Puthige Matha in Edison, New Jersey on Sunday, the Memorial Day weekend (May 24). Sri Srinivasa Kalyana which we used to do in our VMS Annual Retreat will be done in Sri Krishnothsava on May 24. Sri Yogeendra Bhat will make formal announcements of this function and provide all the details in due course. The function will consist of day long events of Devarapooje, theertha prasada, philosophy session, Sri Srinivasa Kalyana, devaranaama session, evening thotilu pooje to Sri Krishna, dinner and sathsangha with devout devotees. Please provide your enthusiastic participation and support. All are welcome.
