Namaskara Madhwa Bandhugalige,

 

This is an excellent idea to be taken forward, which will help all our fellow Madhwa bandhu's across the world to access one portal with all info relating to pilgrimage. With so many web sites it becomes cumbersome for people who do not have good internet surfing knowledge.

 

My suggestion is that this portal must have directory of all Madhwa community affiliated Mutts across India, then all important pilgrimage places starting with Karnataka and other states with all known and unknown places of interest to our community, containing detailed info like - brief history, significance of the place, location, distance from nearest accessible place by air / train / bus / other modes of transport, facility for taxi, boarding, lodging with approx cost ( if not provided there ), important dates for any specific pooja, etc.,

 

I think our fellow Madhwa bandhu's from IT / sw background can chip in their support on technical part as to how the navigation and links on the portal will be and design a simple user friendly web site.

 

Look forward for more responses and initiative from like minded Madhwas.
