Shri Haraye Namaha,

The challenge with younger generation that we face today is to provide

scientific evidence for our religious practices. Despite providing them with all

the necessary logic, they sometimes come back with the basic question " what is

the source of our belief " ? When we say that we must believe Vedas as they are

'Apaurushyea' (authorless) and hence free from any defects that arise out of

works done by human beings, the basic question then arises why should Vedas be

considered as final authority? How do we prove that they are 'Apaurusheya'? Are

Vedas valid even in this modern age & relevant to our lifestyle in Kaliyuga !?

All these areas & much more have been addressed in the pravachana  delivered by

Sri Mukkundi Sreekanthachar at Bellary. It's more like a Seminar with questions

& answers followed by Pravachana. Fortunately, some of the devotees recorded the

'pravachana maalike' of 10 days which is now available to us in the form of MP3

CD. A foreword has been given by Sri 1008 Sri Satyatma Tirtha Swamiji.

We have received a very good feedback from devotees in Bangalore.

All modern scientific theories have been compared & an unbiased approach has

been used to prove the authenticity of Vedas. It uses a lot of English as the

subject demands the same. Being a Mechanical Engineer himself and later

completing his Shastraic studies (Sudha Mangala), Sri Sreekanthachar's words

appeal to both the young and old alike.

This is a must for youngsters who are not completely convinced about the path

that they are told to walk upon; others in 'Saadhana maarga' who might have any

tinge of doubt left in them. For the rest, it would be refreshing to understand

a totally new dimension using which authenticity of Vedas has been proved.

The title of the CD is 'Is our belief blind?' (Namma Nambike Andhave?). It

comprises of approximately 10+ hours of pravachana in Kannada. The cost of CD is

Indian Rupees 50 (Fifty only). Please add Rs.10 for shipping within India. The

proceeds of sale of this CD will be equally distributed between Jayateertha

Vidyapeetha in Bangalore and Hyderabad.

If you are interested, please respond to this email with your address details.

Regards,

Prahlad
