Guest guest
Two anecdotes from the charithra of Sathya Sandha Theertha (whose 315th Aradhana was a few weeks ago):Sathya Sandha Theertha's biography is available at Thanjavur library, actually written in Marathi, later translated to Tamil by the govt. of Tamil Nadu. 1.) Once when he had come to Tiruvaliikeni, Madras. After puja, during theertha prasada, the devotees present were to start eating only after ghee was poured over the rice. Accidentally, the cook had spilled the ghee and was in despair. He rushed to the swamiji and reported this, and swamiji provided a remedy. He told the cook to use the ghee kept near his puja to serve the devotees. The cook wondered how the little amount of ghee present there would be sufficient. He however started serving, and was surprised to see it was just enough to serve the entire crowd of devotees. 2.) When swamiji was travelling from Tiruvaiyar to Thanjavur, the elephant of the king went out of control, and the people gathered around were running in all directions. Swamiji controlled the elephant through his powers and restored normalcy. - B. Sarvothaman
