Can someone guide me on gotra, pravara, sutra etc.

Namaskara,

 

I understand that the gotra, Pravara, sutra, etc. which we chant during

sandhyavandana refers to the lineage.

 

Can someone please enlighten me the real meaning of these terminologies, how do

we connect ourselves to these etc.
