Shri Krishna Jayanthi - Surrender to Lord- Abhishek is recovering

Today (11-Sep-09) is the holy day of Shri Krishna Jayanthi which is to be observed by all vaishnavas. It is customary to celebrate Janmastami on Shravana Krishna Astami. Irrespective of that Shri Krishna Jayanthi has to be celebrated by all madhvas whenever it occurs. For Those devotees who follow the custom of celebrating on Shravana Krishna Astami, this is another opportunity to serve Lord. Tomorrow Shri Krishna Leelotsava is being celebrated at Udupi, Mysore, Poornaprajna Vidyapeeta(Bangalore) and all the devotees are requested to make best use of the opportunity.

Many of our group members have prayed for Chi Abhishek ( a student of Vidyapeeta who was in coma condition since last 3 weeks) for his speedy recovery and we believe it has reached Lord. We have a good news of dramatic improvement in the health condition of Chi Abhishek. Now he is accepting external food.( so far it was through tube in nose). He is able to walk with the support and also talking few words (like a kid). Doctors are really surprised at this improvement and I am sure it is all due to prayers of all the well wishers from MYP and outside. We are sure he will be completely OK within next few days. So please keep him in your prayer and I am sure Lord Krishna surely listen to us.

As Lord Krishna assured in Geeta,t HIS devotees will never perish. (na me bhaktha praNashyathi ). Though we see some difficulties and suffereing which are due to our own Karma, the devotee who fully surrender to Lord Krishna will surely overcome all these suffering at the earliest and will be protected by Lord. As Lord himself said in Geeta - "maamekam saranam vraja", we need to surrender to HIM and offer all our acts to HIM. Lord Krishna will surely take care of HIS devotees and we have several examples in many devotee's life.

One this holy day, let us all pray Lord Krishna to bless Chi Abhishek with speedy recovery. Let us also pray Lord to bless all of us with enough strength to continue in the path of Sadhana wherever we are and however we are.
