The holy month of Ashwayuja, is more auspicious for worshipping Goddess Laxmi in the form of Goddess Durga. As said, it is very very important to get the blessing of Goddess Mahalaxmi, to get rid of ajnana and moha. Shri Mahalaxmi, in the form of Shri, Bhu, Durga pervade everywhere and according to Jiva yogyatha, either bind the people with or liberate the people from ajana and moha. Let us all Pray Goddess Durga on this holy occassion to bless us with the strong will power to overcome ajnana and moha.

VijayaDasami, as the name suggest, is the day for the success. It is one of the siddha muhurtha and any satkarya done, started on this day is surely going to fetch success, all around and take it a long way. Also it is the holy day on which Shri Acharya Madhva came to earth to bless the satvik people with true knowledge and true path of liberation. Let us all celebrate this holy day in a unique way, so as to make it more meaningful and more memorable.

As Shri Acharya said " Kuru bunkshva cha karma nijam niyatham, Haripaada vinamradiya sathatham", we need to do our part of the work humbly, whatever we get, as an opportunity to serve Lord, and offer everything to Lord. Let us try to make our own community people more happier, more proud of and more devoted to Lord. Let us make best use of this Madhva life by trying to offer to Lord all our activities, whatever it may be, however it may be, as a pooja to HIM.

In Tirupathi, these nine days are also celebrated as " Srinivasa KalyaaNotsava", "Brahmotsava" and the everyday Lord is being worshipped with variety of sevas. Luckily we all can see Lord Srinivasa, in the grand decoration and the associated procession, morning and evening, at our home itself, thanks to TV media. At least once in a lifetime we need to participate in that celebration and offer our little seva to Lord.

Let us all pray Lord Srinivasa to bless us that opportunity at the earliest.

Namaskara,There was a small family (Srinivas Desai and Gayatri, husband and wife) staying in Uttaradi matha for some time. Husband approx aged 50+ was assistant cook. Due to certain health (heart related) conditions he couldn't do any assistance.. They took shelter in Bull temple rAyar matha. He was operated couple of times, few doctors including Dr Batni of PPVP and another famous Dr Sridhar of Jayadev operated with very minimal charges. Few well wishers were helping for monthly medicine charges.. Dr Batni refered for help through DN.. Now unfortunately Srinivas Desai passed away 2 days back. Now people are helping the lonely lady for the other rituals. Gayatri don't have any family support. Dr Batni called me yesterday and asked, if there is any thing that your team can help, it will be really appreciated, at this point of time. I checked the financial capability of this family (they have no kids..) the situation is very

bad. Also any kind of help for such cause (when they have trouble in doing samskara) is really appreciated. . and considered as help for AshwamEdha yAga.
