Dear Guru Raghavendra devotees,Sorry for the late update, due to communication issues prevailing due tofloods at mantralayam, I could not get updates on time as promised. Here isthe latest update from Mantralayam :1) With a very heavy heart, we are announcing that out of 712 cows about 57could not be saved and later, suitable steps have been taken to ensure theirsafety now. The cows have been found in various locations aroundMantralayam. 2) The relief activity is in full swing and everyday about 900 - 1000people are fed at Srinivas temple since last 2 days as informed earlier,about 4000 villagers incuding surrounding areas were provided free foodyesterday on behalf of SRS Mutt3) Cleaning of all Brindavans and Praakaar is through and is open forDarshan and excepting one day, pooja and Hastodaka is being performed toRayaru

and from tomorrow normal poojas including detailed panchamruta floraldecoration etc will resume and swamiji is visiting but returning back toRaichur to resume Samsthana pooja from Wednesday and Rathostava etc willresume too.3) SRS Mutt is proposing to restart free food service at Annopoorna too fromWednesday or Thursday.4) Meanwhile, Swamji is very keen on holistic and overall redevelopment/rebuilding of entire Mantralayam and plans to get a master plan prepared atthe earliest. In this regard, He is forming a committee by tomorrowevening/day after to assist him in assessing the damage, come up withmaster plan and for implementation.An account will be assigned and onlythis account is authorized to receive the donations.5) Due to Rumor of dam opening there was lot of panic outside mantralayamand villagers were running helter skelter due to the rumors spread by Media.Some people who

tried to reach mantralayam to help needy had to turn backdue to the panic prevailing in the area and path to Mantralayam beingblocked by these people stuck by Panic.
