Guest guest
Dear Haribhaktas - Namaskaragalu. It is bounded duty of each of us to help the needy in this hour. We pray Shri Hari-Vayu-Gurugalu to bestow to their Grace on the affected families and provide them strength to get through the current hardship. I have couple of points to make with regards to the donations: In the last couple of days, I saw mails from different groups - Shri Uttaradi MaTha, Shri Satyadhyana VidyapeeTa, Shri MYP Organization and there could be some more which I haven't seen on this list and there could be some more who could come fwd to extend their helping hand (Shri Rajaram's mail on IGR group indicates that Shri Rayara MaTa may solicit such contributions though officially it has not yet made any such request). Now with these many different institutions & organizations involving themselves, how do we ensure that the efforts of each of these institutions are not overlapping - not from donation collections perspective (since if a person wishes to make contributions to more than one institution in this noble cause, its very much welcome) but more from its distribution. How does these institutions make sure the funds are distributed across to unique parties that are affected? Is there a way all these institutions can come together and channelize the funds from the single source? Just a thought. Unfotunately many holy places are also affected. However Lord has listened to prayers of the devotees: the situation is improving very slowly and life is limping back to normal. As said, God occasionally tests our depth of devotion by subjecting to severe tests. Let us all take this opportunity as Lord's test to check our willingness to serve HIS devotees and help them. As already reported, few of our volunteers have rushed to the place and spent day and night in serving the needy people, trying to provide them whatever available at that time. The extent of damage caused is yet to be fully understood but the hard fact is that, lot of devotees are in deep trouble and they need a very big helping hand to bring them back to normal life. The worst part is that the crises is not in one single place, but in many places spread around several districts. In this hour of need, MYP would like to serve the affected devotees and do little bit of Janatha Seva as "Janardhana Seva". Many devotees have lost all of their belongings and are almost orphaned. It is really a big task to restore the normal life in those places. MYP is trying to identify few places where the most of our people are affected and trying to help them. I would request all the MYP family members to extend their strong support to these affected devotees. With each one of us adding a drop, it would be really a big source of treasure, and we can surely bring hopes in many of the worst hit families. All donations to MYP are eligible for 80G exemptions and I earnestly request each one of you to join hands and strengthen our efforts to provide food, cloth and other needy items to the effected devotees. Your generous contribution may be kindly sent to the following account with an email to myp.nidhi I am sure it would be highly pleasing to Lord and any help to the needy people would surely be a great seva to Lord Janardhana.
