Sri Pejavar Mutt Swamiji started from Bangalore yesterday night to Mantralayam. He is providing assistance to the affected families.

 

Sri ParimalaAchar family is continuously helping the people around them. During the flash floods & heavy rains they kept hundreds of people at their home & near by Srinivasa temple. They arranged food & water. Their house was not affected with god's grace. From Chennai truck load of essential items( food grains, clothing, utensils, medicines) are sent tomorrow. A strong devotee of Sri Raghavendra is taking the truck to Mantralayam & will handover the things to Sri Parimala Achar so that it will reach the needy people.

 

Devotees are welcome to contribute.

Otherthan swamiji's purvashrama's close relatives anybody is working for rescue operations in Mantralayam, because everytime we are hearing only Sri Suyameendra and Sri Vittal joshi, even we are not hearing the name of SRS Mutt admin head Sri Rajagopalachar.

 

Anyother madhwa team is helping @ mantralayam, pls update.

Dear Devotees of Guru RAghavendra,Here is the latest from Mantralayam, based on my conversation with VittalJoshi Avaru:1) Still there is no power at Mantralayam, SRS Matha has hired 10 KVAGenerators to power the SRS MATHA and help with clean up operations. Thepower is also fed to Srinivas Devaru temple where clean up efforts aretaking place as well.2) There was rumor in Mantralayam spread by some people that ThunghabadraDam was breached and were announced in Village of Mantralayam causing panicthrough Loudspeakers. After calling the concerned government officials itwas found out that there was no intention of opening the dam gates at alland it was an Rumor. Suyameendra achar (poorashrama son of Swamiji) shoutedin the loudspeaker and made sure the crowd knew the truth as there was fearthis panic could cause stampede.3) Still it would take days for power to be restored at

Mantralayam.4) Sri Suyameendra Achar (Purvasharma son of Swamiji) is in Mantralayamoverseeing relief operations.
