Guest guest
Shri Bhagirathi Taayo ShrungarashubhaKayaoo….. Article based on incidents of Chippagiri Nilaya Shri Vijayadasaru -Chippagiri Mohan Part – 7 Shri Vijayadasaru bringing the Bhagirathi to this Earth The water in the Tungabhadra river flowing by making melodies sounds. The amusing sounds nothing but the Omkara of Sri HariSarvothamma and VayuJeevothama. Green fields, crops nod their heads with joy under the kind affection of mother nature. Tungabhadra river’s flow has added enormous beauty and gave importance to the small village as Chikkalaparvi, Though Chikkalaparvi, is a small village, owing to the stay of divine personalities, it has attained great importance place for the Madhwas. As Sri Sripadarajaru has done the pratishthhaapana of ShreeNarasimha Devaru and Ashwath Vrushka. With the blessings from the Narasimha Devaru Anurruha. ShriVijayaprabhugalu born as an Aparoksha Jnannigalu. Dasaru has blessed many of his devotees and bought them to the path of the Lord Shri Hari . Shri Vijayarayaru is one of the most well-liked who has disseminated that Shri Hari is a Sarvothaama. He has brought Shri Madhwa- Tatava to light with his striking writings and he made the Madhwacharya’s philosophy flag keep flying high. Many Dasaru came and worked under the foot steps of Shri Vijayadasaru, simply we can put this it as a second innings for the Haridasa Sahithya. By his inspirations of this great and extraordinary Dasaru today we are talking about the kruthigalu ,suladis and Ugahabogalu. Great kudo’s to Shri Vijayarayaru. When Shri Vijayadasaru was going for Kashi Yatre for the consecutive Third time, an orthodox and a very old pious Achar requested Shri Vijayarayaru . “Dasare you are going to Kashi please say my name and put one dip on behalf of me in the Ganga, I will be happy and also feel my self that I have taken bath in the Gangaâ€. Shri Vijayaraya agreed and left for Kashi Yatre. Some months passed Dasaru finished the Yatre returned to the Chikkalaparvi . One day Dasaru visited the house of the Achar house and gave the prasada, Ganga water etc.,. The Achar’s face was shining and felt happy . Once again achar said that he could not do Ganga Snana till now as my health had not permitted all these years and said sadly that how many days I live I don’t know and when my desire will be fulfilled. Shri Vijayadasaru told you can do Ganga Snana here itself if it comes to Lords wish and dasaru left on his way. After some days Shri Vijayadasaru visited the achars house and informed him to do Ganga Snana in the Tungabhadra tomorrow it self . By listening the words Achar said “dasare, that also I cannot take due to my inability of my poor health†When that Acahr is saying words, his eyes are filled with tears Shri Vijayadasaru understood his plight and called his daughter-in-law and said Amma tomorrow before I goto TungaBhadra river for Snana(bath) you go to the river and fetch two pots of the water in madi and keep in your house where your father-in-law able to take bath. After taking bath when I reach to Aswatha Narayana temple, the water in the pots will be over flow, at that time you can make arrangements for the Ganga Snana for your father-in- law said. These words look like a fine tune music for his ears of achar and he taught he has done good karma in his previous birth that’s why he got this golden opportunity to take bath in Ganga that too without visiting the Ganges and he made lots and lots Punya to have a dasaru like Shri Vijayaraya Prabhugalu and wept inside silently. Next day the Daughter-in-law did according to the instructions of the Dasaru. The Chikkalaparvi village is in the mood of celebrating festival allover the people who are busy talking about Ganga is visitng their place and their eyes and mind are filled with happiness .Shri Vijayadasaru took them all to the banks of the TungaBhadra river. They are all praising dasaru for his greatness but the dasaru is standing on the banks of the river calmly meditating after some time Dasaru has started singing the Bhagirathi Kruthi, till that time the river was calm and flowing like small child crawling on the floor, the water is also in brownish and in muddy colour as soon the Kruthi is over the water colour is also turned to milky white and really the the Bhagirathi is started flowing . The people who are assembled there did namaskaras for the Ganga devi and they cannot believe with their eyes and they started dipping in the river and they all felt happy with the Grace of the Shri Vijayadasaru. After Dasaru finished the Ganga Snana and reached the Ashwath Narayana temple At that same time, the water in the pots of the achar’s house also started overflowing the achar not able to believe what is happening there and started enjoying that scene and his daughter-in-law made an arrangement for his bath after taking the bath his eyes are radiant and his mind is filled with happiness and prayed Hari Vayu Gurugalu for giving Shri Vijayadasaru for this world and he has lived all these years to witness this situation and he put countless namaskaras to Shri Vijayaraya prabhugalu and he felt that is his life desire has fulfilled which has taken place with the grace of the Shri Vijayaraya . After the bath the daughter-in-law made arrangements for the Puje to be performed by his father-in-law and left to Tunga river to take dip in the Tungabhadra river In the evening Shri Vijayadasaru while going to perform Sandhya Vandhane he visited to Achar house. Since morning the achar is waiting for the Dasaru without closing the eyes. After seeing the Dasaru his eyes are filled with tears and prostrated before Dasaru . Dasaru lifted him up “achare you should not do like this I am younger than youâ€. The achar said “dasare as far age is concerned I am older than you, but intellectually you are older than me and he explained clearly what is happened in the morning to Dasaru. Dasaru listened patiently the words of the achar and blessed him and went away. Achar thought that Dasaru will not leave the hands who are believed in him and help his devotees with antharyami of Hari Vayu Gurugalu. Moral of the event : Shri Vijayadasaru was one of the aparoksha jnaanis and he was doing “jnaana snaana†in 72000 nadigata teerthagalu. So, it is not a difficult task for him, to bless yogya sadhaka to have Bahya(external) snana by inviting Vishnu-padi(«µÀÄÚ¥À¢)- Ganga. Hence the saying goes “snaana maadiro jnaana teerthadallli…..†which makes everything possible. ShriBharathi Ramana Mukhya Prana antargata ShriKrishnarapanamastu To be continued…… !!!
