Guest guest
Madhwa’s Teachings. 17-01-2010 Nuggets of Truth by Vidwan M R Gopalacharya (7). 1) A virtuous man is worth his weight in gold. 2) The noblest vengeance is to forgive. 3) The wrong never comes right. 4) The doctrine of strenuous life is better than the doctrine of ignoble ease. 5) Every generation needs regeneration. 6) If refined sense and exalted sense be not useful as common sense, their rarity, their novelty and the nobleness of their objects make some compensation, and render them the admiration of mankind; as gold, though less serviceable than iron, acquires from its scarcity a value which is much superior. 7) They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up as with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint. 8) “Refinement is the lifting of one’s self upwards from the merely sensual, the effort of the soul to etherialise the common wants and uses of life.” H. W. Beecher. Ramachandra Tammanacharya Gutti 9819550626 (To be continued )
