Hare Srinivasa,

namaskAra ellal Madhva bhandhavarige,

This Sunday is most auspicious day to all of us and all of you have your own plan to make best use of this day to get the choicest blessings of Shri Acharya and Shri Lord. While engaging ourselves with the individual, we also need to think about what we can collectively do for the preserving, propagating and preaching the teachings of Shri Acharya.

With the modern life style encroaching all corners of the life, we find it very difficult to sustain the traditional values and cultures. The younger generation is highly getting influenced by the western life style. The traditional values, moral responsibilities, social ethics etc all would be cornered if we do not take proper action to safeguard our culture. Though we individually may not be able to make a significant change, we can collectively make an impact and keep up our values. The simplest and the easiest step is to provide moral support and encouragement to all those who are trying to keep up the traditional values and the cultural gifts. So on this holy occasion let us all take a oath to support all those individuals/centers working for sustaining the

teachings of Shri Acharya.

With all your help and support MYP would like to take up this as a big campaign and support all the Sudha pandits and scholars who are trying to strengthen the propagation and preaching of Shri Acharya's philosophy. As a first step, on 30-Dec-2009, in Shri Poornaprajna Vidyapeeta, MYP honoured all the new Sudha pandits who recently completed their Sudha Mangala and conveyed MYP's support for any activates for the propagation of Shri Acharya's teachings.

This was a symbolic event and we would like to support all pandits who are dedicated for preaching and propagation of Shri Acharya's teachings. We have already offered our token of support to two Shudha pandits who have dedicated their life for Tatva prasara. Shri SathyaVijaya Achar, Sathyavijaya Nagara and Shri Kumarcharya, Mahishi are doing wonderful work by staying at the remote places and trying to sustain the glory of those places. We would like to extend our support to all those who are working similarly in rural areas safeguarding the place and

tradition.

We would also like to support those who are keen for higher studies in Tarka, Vedhantha, NyayaShastra, Alankara, Jyothisya etc. In the present situation most of the pandits are forced to take up some or the other profession for sustaining their family and there are hardly any young scholars pursuing higher studies. This is not a good sign and calls for an immediate action at this stage. We need to encourage the Sudha pandits for higher studies so that they can contribute significantly for strengthening our Tatvavada. The influence of other schools of philosophy

is so high that we may not be able to keep up our faith and confidence in our Tatvavada unless we have good scholars who can trash out all our doubts and upheld the values of our Siddantha. On this auspicious madhva –navarathri MYP would like to take up these two new initiatives to support and strengthen the propagation and preaching of Shri Acharya's teaching. Your strong support and encouragement is very much needed to us to realize this dream. You may support us as follows

1) Kindly send us the details of those pandits ( working for Shri Acharya’s teachings) who are in need of support. 2) Contribute generously for this cause and help us to realize the dream.

This year we would like to support two Sudha pandits who are doing higher studies and two pandits who are working for propagation of Shri Acharya' teachings. Please send nominations if you know anyone. Also please pass on the message to all like minded people so that together we can achieve better. And lastly reserve a part of your resource to strengthen this cause, by contributing generously on the holy day of Shri Madhva Navami in the seva of Shri Acharya.

Your suggestions are most welcome.
