Dear Devotees,

 

            We are pleased to inform you that from 15-02-2010 to 21-02-2010 Shree Raghavendra Samiji Saptaha Mahotsavam will be celebrated. Shri Raghavendra Swamiji who has been worshipped as “kaliyuga Kamadhenu”, “Kalpa Vriksha” was born at Bhuvanagiri near Chidambaram and embraced the pontification at Tanjore. He ruled the Vendanta Samrajya between 1623 to 1671  and finally entered the Brindavan alive on the banks of the river Tungabhadra at Mantralayam. He still lives in the Brindavanam.

 

Shri Raghavendra Saptaha Karyacharana Samithi an institution at Mantralayam has been started with the aim of propagating the message of Guru Sri Raghavendra by way of celebrating the two important date in the life history of the swamiji viz., the birthday and the day of coronation which fall in the same week of the Phalguna Masa. The function which is celebrated for seven days has been named as “SHRI RAGHAVENDRA SAPTAHA MAHOTSAVAM” with the divine blessings of H.H Sri Sushameendra Theertha Swamiji, of Mantralaya Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt.

            Devotiees are cordialyy invited to participate in the saptaha mahotsavam in large numberrs, contribute liberally and invode the blessings of Shri Raghavndra Swamiji.
