Guest guest
Dear Reader, To-day is Gudhi Padwa that marks the beginning of the New Year, Vikruti Naam Samatsara, according to the Hindu calendar. On this occasion, Kulapati Vidyasimhacharya performed ksheerabhisheka to Lord Venkatesha at the Satyadyana Vidyapeetha and performed the Lord's Kalyanotsava. He also performed special pooja and offered obeisance to the Lord, other deities and yatis and prayed for the well being of all. A large number of devotees attended the pooja and they too offered different sevas. On this auspicious occasion, Madhwa's Teachings wishes all its readers and their family members a year of happiness, prosperity, spiritual progress and peace. It also prays to Hari, Vayu and gurus to make the new Vikruti Naam Samvatsara the beginning of what Alfred Tennyson calls " the thousand years of peace " . With regards, Ramachandra Tammannacharya Gutti. 9819550626
