" ....Vivekananda A person can delay (for whatever reason)... but the life of the body is short. In my case, I find that meditating on death is very helpful. We are " born " empty handed, and we " leave " empty-handed. Any materialism or other desires in this lifetime is utterly futile, because we are going to die, and we are dying already. The body starts dying the moment it's born. It seems to me the most important thing is to discover what is deathless in me, so when that moment arrives (which is just around the corner, any time, could be any second now) I can face it not only with " dignity " but with joy and happiness, and not a trace of fear.
