Logic, Choice, and Language

In language each word of any sentence can be written as

itself or it's opposite/negation.

i.e.:

I am going to the fair soon.

*I/not I* *am/am not* *going/not going* *to/not to* *the/not

the* *fair/not fair* *soon/not soon*. By randomly choosing

a word or it's negation for each pair one can construct a

logical sentence. Makes sense logically but maybe sounds

screwy.

Notice that every word that we utter, write, or think has

it's opposite or dual which may be chosen. What are we

doing when we think up such sentences? We are minding or

using our mind. We are completely within duality. While we

are doing this there is no way we can be in the non-dual

condition.

Now can you think up a sentence which exists in a non-dual

language? Chances are you cannot. Why? Cause words are

inherently dual and one must always choose the word or it's

opposite. You can point to a state which exists outside

duality but you can't write a sentence in the non-dual

language cause there is no non-dual language.

The nearest thing you can do is to contemplate things such

as " What is the sound of one hand clapping " until you

realize they cannot make sense in the dual condition and

perhaps you then catch a glimpse of your true non-dual Self.

So where does choice come in? It only comes in play when

your mind is in the dual state. Since there are no non-dual

words how can you make a choice? You have to allow the dual

to fade away and then what is left? Choiceless awareness,

your true being.

So how do you do it. Once you can recognize what the

obstacle is you simply dwell in your being and allow

thoughts to simply come and go with no power over your true

Self. Thoughts swelling and going like bubbles in the

waves.

Let it happen. Let it happen. Let it happen. Yes.
