Heh, I like this. I can't resist pointing out, though, that it's a paradox (one made famous by the British philosopher Bertrand Russell). Since the sentence is itself something you uttered, then if it's true, it's a lie. But if it's a lie, it's true. But if it's true....etc. So I'm not sure how well it clears up any possible confusion. I keep noticing people (plural, it's common) on many lists who sign their letters " love " but write things that are at least unloving and at worst, cruel. I don't want my letters to be like that.
