Master Darshan Singh: " According to Surat Shabda Yoga, a linking with the

Power of Naam or Word provides the most natural means for our spiritual

progress. The word " surat " means " attention, " and such concentration is a

primary attribute of the soul. Those who follow the Path of the Masters aim

at attaching the surat to the Shabd or Word, and they then follow the Word

back to the Source. "

 

SEEING IS BELIEVING

 

From Swami Ji Maharaj: " Atheists, who deny the existence of a Supreme Being,

are wrong. The Lord is hidden, as fire is hidden in the wood. Because they

cannot see Him, they deny Him. Had they sought a Sat Guru and subdued their

minds according to the Method given by the Saints, they would have been able

to see the Lord and would have been saved from the sin of ingratitude. "

In pursuit of formalities

Or fake religious

Laws,

 

For through the stairway of existence

We have come to God's

Door.

 

We are

People who need to love, because

Love is the soul's life,

 

Love is simply creation's greatest joy.

The stairway of existence,

O, through the stairway of existence, Hafiz,

 

Have

You now come,

Have we all now come to

The Beloved's

Door.
