" Thought is inferred as well, by the presence of spikes on an EEG. The spikes indicate only that " spikes " are perceived when electrodes are hooked to the head. Your own " argument " contradicts itself. You dive into empiricism to explain " the brain " (apparently something real to you), yet you deny the concept of " the mind. " Don't you see that " the brain " is itself an utterly ludicrous concept? That *EVERYTHING SAID HERE* is a concept... and that you attempt to negate a concept ( " the mind " ) through the use of concepts??? This is all completely ludicrous.
