Guest guest
I am replying to the message sent to me pertaining to enlightenment. To seek enlightenment is like a dog seeking its' own tail. I believe we must be happy where ever we go because where ever we go that's where we are. The minute we feel we have reached enlightenment is the moment we realize that we know nothing. Man has already technologically reached a state that allows mankind to surpass the speed of light by 30 percent. While this might appear to be of great significance to those of the technological world, instantaneous travel is easily achieved through Astral projection. By breaking through the magnetic trappings of the human body our soul is fully capable of vibrating quite freely to destinations necessary relative to a soul's circumstances. I do not believe that a human must give up everything, which includes the self, to achieve enlightenment. I do believe that we must strive to do our best in whatever endeavor we pursue. We must reach a point where our vibrational state is such that it harmonizes with the creator and does not cause discordance. In today's world we find that humans are racing along faster and faster like a mouse in a roller wheel. Scrambling to go no where fast. Frequency equals 1/time. Since there is an inverse relationship that exists between time and frequency we shall find that as frequency of the masses increases our time decreases. Does it really matter if our time decreases on this planet. This is relative to each human. If we continue to speed along aimlessly and fail to stop and enjoy the smell of a rose, despite it's thorns, or the setting of the sun, then perhaps we have missed the point and one might say that this neglect is truly selfish. I believe that we must all take our own pictures of life and experience life ourselves and then and only then will we vibrate towards the being what we were meant to be. A student entered a courtyard to gather a bucket of water. His teacher was also there. The student asked the teacher if the water was warm. The teacher dipped his own bucket in the water and proceeded to pour it on top of the boy and then walked away. I just hope there are enough towels in this world to go around. Guest guest
There is no such thing as a selfless act. All our activites are selfish, and are strenghtening the ego. Charity is selfishness; Wanting enlightenment is selfishness. - UG As long as we are doing any activity (Sadhana) to get rid of the ego, we cannot, because all our activity is born out of the feeling of I. How can we be rid of desire, as long as there is a big desire for enlightenment ? Also to consciously stop seeking, is still part of seeking by the clever mind. The dying of the ego, cannot come by effort. Rather it may come when there is no effort or desire for Liberation. And it is not something that can be known or exerienced, because there is no experiencer. This sounds deflating to most people. People have a craving for permanence. They want to live on in some form or the other, even after death. They have images of liberation, eternal bliss and so on. So with such an image in mind, they choose a path and work towards it. But there is no destination to be reached. The death of the ego, is the death of the person. Are we ready to die now ? Until we give up this craving for permanence, until we are ready to die, we are not ready for Liberation. One can will never know, if/when it actually happens.
