Guest guest
>Hi Dan: > >Nice to see you on this list. >I would like your opinion on the " non-teachings " of UG... >if you are willing to share.... > >--Michael UG seems to want to make looking for, or holding onto a teaching dispensible. This seems in line with the " neti, neti " approach - It is not any teacher, It is not any teaching, It is not getting to some other place. Perhaps the crux of the matter is this: to die (to the past, to the known) and be " reborn " right here, right in the midst of " this as it is " . UG took away the role of teacher, perhaps useful to some. Others use the role of teacher, perhaps useful to others. Either way, it comes to the crux of the matter: Die and be reborn: the " teaching " more ancient than time itself, more Present than this very moment. We've " received " and all that there is now is: die and be reborn (*really*, not as an idea or a new " attitude " ). death and rebirth is nothing other than exactly this moment once no conceptualization is maintained as " reality " . There's no way out and no substitute ;-) Blessed BE, Dan
