A friend sent me this poem by Rainer

Maria Rilke a few days ago. She said

it reminds her of Realization.org. She

happened to send it the same day that

Leaf announced to us that God isn't a

person.

Nothing is too small for me, but I love it even so,

and paint it huge on gold cloth,

and hold it high, and I don't know

whose soul it may set free.

(From " Da neigt sich die Stunde, " Book of Hours)

lol, there's even more synchronicity

here than I realized. I mistranslated the

poem. It actually says " gold size, " not

" gold cloth. " Gold size is the varnish on

which gilders place gold leaf. So the

poem really says:

Nothing is too small for me, but I love it even so,

and paint it huge in gold leaf,

and hold it high, and I don't know

whose soul it may set free.

Rhymes better that way, too. :)
