Compared to before a person starts seeking, the seeker is very happy. Doesn't a seeker start seeking after at least a mystical experience? If a seeker is not after the bliss that he tasted during the mystical experience how can he suffer? For me at least it has been like riding on a speedy Tigers back. I cannot dismount nor do I want to. I don't know about this chakra business but my heart is very peaceful nowadays and I have almost no fear of anything. However there still is a lot of turmoil in my head, but definitely no suffering, anyway not as much as it was before. [And if there is any it is not due to the seeking.] ______________________ With Love, Cyber Dervish ````````````````````````````````````````

Separate identity in any sense, (high or low) is nothing but the activity suffering. When you're at your best or at your worst, it's still suffering. What you refer to as " love " , when inspected closely, is nothing but suffering itself. Judi
Guest guest
Hiya Jan, - Jan Sultan Realization Monday, September 17, 2001 08:59 PM Re: was: The fallacy .... Seekers Suffering? At 9/17/2001-07:35 AM Sandeep Chatterjee wrote:>Further the suffering seeker would know nothing about this change, for the >simple reason that he/she would not be around to note the fact of the >occurred change.>>So for the suffering seeker, really nothing can ever change, no matter >what song and dance it gets into.>>And a change takes place, again in an conceptual sense.<LOL>What I do not understand is why a seeker is supposed to suffer? Compared to before a person starts seeking, the seeker is very happy. San: From the moment of "birth", Jan you are seeking. You seek your mother's nipple and then graduate to a Million dollars in the bank, or that beauty on the bar stool. No achievement of the object of the current seeking, (if it tales place at all) ever satisfies you on a permanent basis. And it is permanent happiness which is really what you are seeking, hoping that the latest adjudged icon, will provide that. All icons, fall short and so you move to the next. In some rare, non-linear biological computer, the intrinsic twist in the innate "wiring", sees the futility of all the current icons and believes spiritual icons are the answer. And starts the same round and round the mulberry bush, except that you now consider yourself on a spiritual trip, somehow superior to those idiots chasing mundane stuff. ------- Doesn't a seeker start seeking after at least a mystical experience? Yes, when Life delivers a kick in the pants. ------- If a seeker is not after the bliss that he tasted during the mystical experience how can he suffer? San: What is suffering? It is the unacceptance of pain. The pain may be physical, emotional or mental. In the unacceptance of the "now" (whatever that "now" is), is the suffering. Unacceptance arises from the sense of "should", isn't it? The sense of "should" is the sense of the personal entity. The sense of personal entity is the sense of separation, separation from the "now". However, all this is consequential of the manner of the "wiring" of the non-linear psycho-somatic apparatus. Seemingly the "me-Jan" had to come to be, so that the "you-non-Jan" would seemingly come to be. And a relations between these seeminlgy separate entities, is possible. And Life which is nothing but this incredible mosaic of relationships, Life comes to be. All part of the fun and games, constituting the Lila. ----------- For me at least it has been like riding on a speedy Tigers back. I cannot dismount nor do I want to. San: That is correct. Seeking whether spiritual icons or a bank balance, has really nothing to do with the seeker as such. Really the seeker is being led up the garden path. For the seeker, it's all serious business, he/she even notices the developing spiritual halo around his/her wisdom filled ass. But really it is the most hilarious cartoon act, possible. When there is no bondage and thus there is no liberation, to still have these thousands of non-linear biological computers engage in the serious pursuit of "manna in Heaven", what else can be done, but marvel at the power of Maya. I don't know about this chakra business but my heart is very peaceful nowadays and I have almost no fear of anything. San: Who notices that there is "no fear of anything"? Cheers Sandeep
